What it is
Utilverse Audio Trimmer cuts MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG, FLAC and AAC files directly in your browser: drag a file, pick start and end on the interactive waveform, apply fade in/out and normalization, then export in any format — including M4R for iPhone ringtones. No upload, no waiting queue, no watermark: your audio never leaves your device. It also works on video files (MP4, MOV, WebM, MKV) by extracting only the audio track.

No, never. Decoding uses your browser's Web Audio API and encoding uses ffmpeg.wasm locally. You can verify it by opening the Network tab — zero upload requests.

The first export downloads the ffmpeg.wasm encoder (~20 MB). Your browser keeps it cached locally: every export after that starts immediately, even offline.
Only your browser's RAM. We warn at 100 MB (soft) and ask confirmation above 300 MB, because a decoded MP3 expands to much more than the original file size in RAM.
